Returns & Refunds Policy

At SplashMode, we want you to shop with confidence. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding returns, refunds, replacements, and cancellations.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Right to Cancel (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer residing within the European Union, you generally have the legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order without providing a reason.

Once you have notified us of your decision, you must return the goods within 14 days.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, products should:

  • Be returned in substantially the same condition as received, except for handling necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
  • Include all accessories, manuals, and original packaging where reasonably possible.
  • Be packaged securely to prevent damage during return shipping.

Where permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right to reduce the refund if the value of the returned goods has diminished due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned where permitted by applicable law:

  • Products sealed for hygiene or health protection that have been unsealed after delivery, where applicable.
  • Personalized or custom-made products.
  • Gift cards.
  • Products intentionally damaged or modified after delivery.

4. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If you receive a damaged product, a defective item, or an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 7 days of delivery, by emailing:

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging where possible.

We reserve the right to inspect the product and determine, acting reasonably, whether the issue results from a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or misuse. We may request additional information before approving a replacement or refund.

5. Damage Caused After Delivery

Refunds or replacements will not be provided for damage resulting from:

  • Misuse or improper use
  • Accidents
  • Punctures or cuts
  • Improper inflation or overinflation
  • Improper storage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Failure to follow product instructions
  • Modifications or repairs not authorized by SplashMode
  • Use outside the product's intended purpose

6. Return Shipping

If you are exercising your legal right to cancel under applicable consumer protection laws, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Where a return results from our error, a defective product, or an incorrect shipment, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return label where appropriate.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost during transit before they are received by us.

7. Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase and will be processed within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been shipped back, where required by applicable law.

Original standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by law. Additional charges for expedited or premium shipping services are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

8. Partial Refunds

Where permitted by applicable law, we may issue a partial refund if:

  • The returned product shows signs of handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, or functioning
  • Components, accessories, or original packaging are missing
  • The value of the returned goods has otherwise been reduced

Any reduction will be proportionate to the diminished value of the returned item.

9. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you would like a different product, please return the eligible item in accordance with this policy and place a new order.

10. Returns That Cannot Be Accepted

Where permitted by applicable law, we may refuse a return or reduce the refund if:

  • The item is returned outside the applicable return period, unless a longer statutory period applies
  • The product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary for inspection
  • Parts, accessories, or packaging are missing
  • The item has been intentionally damaged
  • The return otherwise does not comply with this policy
